Accessibility Statement
At our organisation, SAMAVESH (which means inclusion), we are committed to creating an inclusive and accessible digital space for everyone, especially Persons with Disabilities (PWDs). Our mission is rooted in ensuring access to legal identity, scholarships, and higher education for first-generation learners and individuals with disabilities, and we want our website to reflect these values. We are currently working to make sure our website meets the highest accessibility standards.
- All videos produced by Samavesh include captions and downloadable transcripts.
- For videos where visuals require additional explanation, we are working to provide audio-described versions.
- We are in the process of making previously produced videos fully accessible.
- Videos from third-party sources (not produced by Samavesh) may not always include captions, transcripts, or audio descriptions.
Our website is undergoing upgrades to improve accessibility features such as screen reader compatibility, keyboard navigation, and visual contrast.
In addition, we are exploring open-source tools and plugins that support accessible design practices, ensuring that our efforts extend beyond this website.
We apologise for any inconvenience during this transition and deeply appreciate your patience and feedback. If you encounter accessibility barriers, please contact us at [email protected] so that we can continue to improve.
